Electromagnetic Holding electromagnets
With this type of electromagnets, the attraction is created when the holder is energised. When the power supply is removed, the part being held is released. Diameters between 20 and 150 mm in standard manufacture.
Magnetic Holding Electromagnets
This type of electromagnets have an incorporated magnet that creates the attraction to hold the part. Applying voltage to the device disables the magnet’s properties while it is being powered, and the part is released.
Bipolar holding electromagnets
With these electromagnets, the magnetic parts are attracted and held when the holder’s internal coil is energised. When the power supply is removed, the part being held is released.
